Inversion Therapy not only works on relieving pain in the back and neck but also has been useful for some in treating depression! Please read this article (courtesy of the Fort Wayne "Journal Gazette") on how Rosie O’Donnell used Inversion Therapy to help her overcome her depression.
Rosie O’Donnell says she began being treated for depression after the Columbine school shootings in Colorado and hangs upside-down for up to a half-hour a day to improve her mental state.
When gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in 1999, O’Donnell said she felt as if it had happened to her children.
“I couldn’t stop crying,” she said on an episode of ABC’s “The View” about women and depression that will air Friday. “I stayed in my room. The lights were off. I couldn’t get out of bed and that’s when I started taking medication.”
When she began taking antidepressants, O’Donnell, 44, said she began yoga and “inversion therapy,” where she hangs upside-down by a swing for 15 to 30 minutes a day...
O'Donnell went on to demonstrate this inversion therapy on “The View.” on March 8th, 2007.
We give props to Rosie and thank her for sharing the value of inversion therapy! Be sure to check out the only UL Listed Inversion Therapy Tables on the market today at www.fitzz.com.
